I remember a few other posts about this. I'm not sure what you're asking. Is it: Can a person have Bartonella if the only symptoms of it they have are UTI-like symptoms?
The answer is yes. You definitely could have Bartonella and have those be the main symptoms of it that you notice. But Bartonella has many, many symptoms, some of which you might be attributing to other infections. There is extensive overlap among these infections, and I am sure that you have more symptoms that could be from Bartonella. Then again, the urinary tract issues could be from a different infection.
Keep in mind that many of us have irritated urinary tracts for a long time when we are treating for other infections, often because of herxing.
Are you wondering if it's a good idea to treat with bartonella-specific antimicrobial treatment when you're not positive that Bartonella is involved? I'd say that if there's no way your symptoms are from a herx, and you are confident that you have eradicated other infections, then go for it.
Have you tried supplements for the urinary tract, like D-mannose? Or help detoxing the kidneys, like dandelion?
I can tell that you are very anxious about this. I'd love to help, but again, I'm just not sure what would be helpful. What does your LLMD say, if you have one?[/quot
On Monday I went to my llmd I told him what I was going through he wants to put me on mythalene blue but first wanted to see what my labs look like for my kidnyes and after that I went straight to the ER and after a CT scan it came back I have a 2mm stone in my kidney I was giving flomax and pain meds now I have to see what my llmd is going to do
