Azithromycin and rifampin dosage

Treating bart w/ clinical diagnosis.

On rifampin 300mg 2x a day and azithromycin 250 mg 2x a day.

My question is I’m reading online that some doctors recommend taking that dosage together. As in the 600 mg and 500 mg as one dose for the day as opposed to splitting in.

Thoughts on which is best or if it even matters?

Both my lyme docs prescribe the abx as twice daily dosing.... except the amoxicillin - my LLND had me dose it 3x daily due to the short half life of 1 hour.

Ive seen a fair amount of posts with people taking rif once daily.
I think it’s more common prescribed twice daily
