Vein furrowing (indenting) and Varicose veins

Does anyone else have vein furrowing or indenting? I have this in my arm....indented and large blue veins coming to the surface and it's itchy. I've read it can be caused by Lyme.

lyme affected my bp a lot . if i pressed an elevator my finger would stay flat for minutes at time. also i had darkening of skin over nerve damaged area that preceded a wasting syndrome...

both lyme and bart are both documented to cause vasculitis - which is basically damage to the veins( and other blood vessels).

one of the typical manifestations of Lyme is blood vessels in arms or legs bursting spontaneously leading to a bruise where no other injury was present. this can also be v painful when it occurs

rickettsia also causes damage to the endothelial tissue that lines the blood vessels similar to Bart - but typically also causes edema( swelling) in various places - due to leakiness of the weakened blood vessels. ( see buhners books n spotted fever rickettsia)

Bart often causes damage to the small blood vessels - as in small vessel disease in various tissues - the skin in the shins is one example - often resulting in hair loss above the ankle - see Dr. Burrascano and the work of Vet doctor Ed Breschwerdz.

from what I have read not all Bart causes elevated VEGF - or not in all people - but is probably worth testing it anyway because if yours does register as high then this can be a useful marker to track treatment effectiveness.
