I have seen there has been quite a few B-12 questions - I am just looking for some
Advice please.
I have been extremely nutritionally deficient for the last 5 months I have been living off roughly 3 foods.
Recently I have added in another few foods and can tolerate A few supplements in very small doses although I am working On increasing .
I am low in B-12 and folate both of which I have recently started taking methyl B-12 under my tongue and A methylfolate supplement
I was taking 1000mg a day B-12 - 2 foods I have added in recently is broccoli and kale which I am eating in abundance.
My problem is my B-12 symptoms seem to have gotten worse since taking a supplement - chest pains , heart palps, leg weakness, cold feet and neuropathy.
I don’t think I will be able to tolerate a B-12 shot at the moment. I am extremely sensitive to any supplement it has taken me a while to work up to 1000mg but I - I also have severe chemical and food sensitivities.
I seem to have an adverse reaction to b vits which I know is quite common -my first attempt at taking folate I took a tiny drop mixed with water and only drank half and I have never felt anxiety like it.
I know this sounds like typical mthfr symptoms. I finally have an appointment in a few weeks to undergo testing .
In the meantime I am becoming concerned at how drastic my symptoms Have become... any ideas how I can progress ?
My vit d levels are low also - I am working on that supplement too but in tiny tiny does.
I can tolerate a magneisum spray and a iron supplement.
I have stopped treating Lyme but I am doing the DNRS programme have had some great results so far .My gp has advised the B-12 shots but I know how reactive I am to a small amount a shot may not be the best idea at the moment until I have built up a better tolerance
Any help would be much appreciated .
