Hard Bump on Thumb Causing New Anxiety

Just when I had calmed to a decent degree, I looked down at my hand tonight and can see there is a bump on my thumb joint near fingernail. It is on the left hand thumb, and my right hand has hurt and been slightly swollen since April.

Though my tests for autoimmune are most all negative (RA factor, ANA, CRP, Sed rate,many others), I am concerned again of Rheumatiod Arthritis.

Has anyone ever heard of Lyme or co-ninfections causing these symptoms? The only thing I have done different in last few days is I started back Zithromax, which I've never had problems with before.

I can't find anything like this about Lyme. I'm worn out looking for answers from doctors on all this as they won't rule out autoimmune but can't say it is. Sorry to have yet another question.

Bartonella is known for causing subcutaneous nodules.

Can you share a pic RW? My mom is 65 and has a couple hard red bumps on her fingers. She doesnt have autoimmune disease though, its been diagnosed as osteoarthritis due to old age. She has no other symptoms.

Of the lab and other testing the center did, did bartonella ever come up?

I have always heard that dealing with this is like peeling an onion. You pull back a layer and find something else.

WBF - Thanks for picture instructions. And I did test positive for Bartonella a few years ago, then negative on the Armin test, which I have big doubts about as it had been missing then suddenly found. I would like to get another since the bump came up after taking Zithromax (maybe by chance). Igenex best bet?

FlatEFR - I am glad to disappeared for you. Did it cause any pain? Mine is a painless, true "bump" that is whitish red on the middle joint.

. Join the club lol as I calmed my nerves frm hvn lyme bart and all I noticed a little bump on my elbow . It's been here about 3 months and it is a little sore if I touch it or lean on it. It's movable very small kinda soft like my skin bt hard enough if that makes sense . It's the color of my skin a little off pink I kept thinking it's a small pimple a cyst or a wart then I'm like no way was so random. Also my ANA was @ 1:40 which is right there start borderline. They thought it was lupus bt then all other tests were neg so I'm like ehhhhh. Then they said maybe lupus or connective tissue disease which is autoimmune. No no way in hell the rheumatologist I saw In CT was a total nutcase and egotistical. Even went as far as diagnosing me with ehlers-danlos syndrome hyper mobility disorder flexible yet here I am soooo stiff **** and then said he thinks I HV marfan syndrome. Omg plus says I couldn't hv late stage lyme because it only shows as nuero lyme and arthritis andy knees weren't swollen enough what a.joke. them goes on to say he was one of the 1st docs to work on lyme disease in ct yea um alrighty then. That's when I took matters into my own hands and started buhners protocol. Doofus said he didn't think I had bart or babesia or lyme because I looked healthy says other ppl looks awful all load of bs. Doesn't believe in biofilms false neg

DMSO is known to break down a lot of denser fibrous tissues no matter what they might be.

I have quite a few fatty deposits right under the skin about the size of a dime, a couple about the size of a quarter on an otherwise very lean body so it’s kind of odd I have this. These increased in number when I was treating Lyme. I don’t member what they’re called, lipomas? But I have read where people have
shrunk them by dabbing DMSO on them with cotton balls you’d probably have to do this for a couple of months every night.

How did u rebuild muscle ?.having that issue now it's awful

I tried to download the picture I took of bum on my thumb. It doesn't come out well, and it kept loading upside down. It is just to the side of middle joint and is not extremely hard. Have no idea what it might be.
