What strain of borellia do u hv

Has anyone ever been tested and hv another strain of borellia rather than b. Burgderfori

I have Borrelia hermsii and Borrelia bergdorferi (and Bartonella bacilliformis and Babesia divergens). I suspect that if people were tested for the dozens of Borrelia that cause disease in humans, then we'd find we have lots of variations!

I'm so curious I have had only one positive test for borellia burgderfori bt have lyme symptoms that don't seem to go away. I've never been tested for any other strain bt the band 30 on western blot says can be european or californian strain and can also be a relasping fever of some type. That's what I read about that band.

never heard of arminlabs. Is there a test to order that tests for all strains of borellia? Or did u have to order seperate testing and was it a western blot?

My LLMD didn't indicate that it needed to be treated different than burgderfori. Have you heard differently?

I did a EliSpot from ArminLabs. My doctor is a big fan of it to gauge where you are at after you are already chronic and treating. As you probably know testing for Chronic Lyme via antibodies is often a fool's errand. EliSpot gauges the T-cell immune response to Borrelia and other pathogens.

Thanks for the info everyone and I've never been told because I've never looked into it. I never knew I had different strains bt assuming I'm taking the regular.lyme protocol and still feel crappy idk
