Quite honestly i think you will be fine...likely you will see your sleep improve and cortisol levels normalize. Soluble fiber and pre-biotics are good for most people (unless you have SIBO/bacteria issues)...but other than that I've never heard of a "healthy carb"
so your not suppose to take prebiotics if u hv sibo? I was told no.carbohydrates And absolutely no pasta or potatoes because of all that starch and carbohydrates i ordered a probiotic today which consists of 5 different bifidobacteriums strains. This is essential for digestion and keeping good gut bacteria and sibo away . I'll let everyone know how it works out soon enough. Only diet that worked for my sibo or gut dysbiosis was applesauce white rice etc. Bland dietyes, especially if you are doing it as a test/therapeutic trial to figure out if it will work for you / if dysbiosis and gut issues is likely causing you issues - then remove ALL carbohydrates.
including vegetables with anything other than a trace amount of carbs.
just eat meat, eggs ( if you tolerate them - if not sure remove these too to begin with) fish,
non-starchy vegetables - like salad leaves, celery, olives, cucumber (avoid root vegetables as some carbs in those - incl carrots etc )
don't load up on protein or it will counter ketosis ( energy needs should come from fats).
so add healthy fats for energy - otherwise, you will lose weight / find it v hard
the more strict you are initially the clearer signal you will get on whether its going to help you or not.
be prepared for some adjustment issues - as it takes around 2 weeks for your bodies cells to work out and adapt to use fats as feul - some headaches, cravings etc common during this period but shortlived and not everyone get such issues ( my partner went from unable to function to running 2 miles in 4-5days of going keto )
