Hey Girlie, I've just been searching through the posts and I found you mentioned you dealt with venous pooling.

Did you experience it like when you would come out of the shower as well? Was this part of the pots symptoms you experienced?

Which infection do you attribute it too? I am thinking it might be lyme and bartonella? It'd be great to hear your thoughts and experience on it.

Hi, Cignet! I'm not Girlie, obviously, but just wanted to chime in that pooling in the feet after a shower sounds totally like POTS to me. The shower heat can make POTS worse, plus the standing without moving can allow the blood to pool. When I was at my sickest, my feet were a little purple and puffy after a shower. Do you have POTS?

I had forgotten about the venous pooling.
I remember my first appt with the LLND in 2014 - he looked at my feet and said that’s what it is.
I did mention lyme - but it could also be from Bart - not sure.
It didn’t resolve until Bart treatment.
I think it was part of POTs - as I also had the raised heartbeat when I stood up.

Thankfully both symptoms have resolved.
