Please send me names of herbalists that you have personally worked with and can completely treat with herbs , vitamins, supplements. Anywhere in the US is fine now that everyone is doing virtual! Wish list....someone that understands chronic lyme and co's but also mycotoxin illness, parasites, dental cavitations, POTS, overactive immune system among other issues. I also want someone who will customize for me and will not sell/recommend formulas or predetermined combinations. I am super sensitive and that doesn't work for me.

I haven’t been treated by any of these - but thought I’d share with you - Buhners recommended list of herbalists.

Folks recommended herbalist Tommy Priester to me, but I never saw him personally.
My LLMD fits your descript
ion, actually, if you want his information - AB in Waltham, MA. Love him.

Thank you. I have found that MD's (even Functional/Integrative ) generally don't know that much about
herbs. Is yours different? Does he/she have deep familiarity of Buhner recommendations?

Julie McIntyre, Buhner’s partner, stopped practicing. She gave some recommendations on her site linked below.

Yes, he's well-versed in herbs in general and in multiple herbal Lyme treatment protocols. He was happy to work with me when I had reactions to one of the "core" herbs in Buhner protocols or wanted to start very slowly, or steer clear of one thing or another. He's very flexible. That said, he is not an herbalist by training. He definitely has experience with mycotoxins, POTS, immune dysfunction, etc. and has treated Lyme without pharmaceuticals extensively. He didn't miss a beat when I said I wasn't considering pharma.
All of that said, I do agree with you about
MDs in general having limited herbal knowledge. Even the ones who treat with herbs tend to know only about
the basic protocols (BW, Cowden, Buhner) and don't have the expertise to deviate from those when needed. I definitely understand your hesitation and desire to see an actual herbalist! Just thought I'd mention him, just in case.

I am working with Bree Lesniak, who I found on Julie McIntyre‘s site. She is wonderful and highly recommended. I’m not sure if she’s taking new clients. She is in New York but I am working with her via telehealth. Best wishes to you!
