I have had that sort of pain, yes, usually when I am actively detoxing something or generally reactive. I used to go through urine test strips a lot, thinking I had a UTI, but never found leukocytes. The urinary tract region tends to be more reactive for me when menstrual cycle events are happening, including ovulation, so I suspect the hormone-related inflammation in the area makes it more likely to react to a histamine trigger at those times. I often feel like I have a UTI right before I menstruate for a day or two.
When I suspect MCAS in general, I usually remove as many triggers as I can control - high-histamine foods and supplements, stress, hot showers, physical exertion, etc. and add more curcumin and quercetin. Diet is the number one treatment for me, but of course everyone varies. Do you use anything else for mast cells and histamine management other than Xyzal? Does it normally help with other MCAS-like symptoms? It seems like a lot of people have to take multiple kinds of antihistamines and mast cell stabilizers to manage multi-systemic symptoms. Such a labor-intensive process finding what works!
I'm trying to think of something that could soothe the urinary tract specifically, but I'm not coming up with anything! I will keep thinking about this!
