strange test results inc Pertussis. Mold?

mycoplasma pneumoniae came back well over 400 Igg
but stranger still is Pertussis Whooping Cough is highly positive


how on earth this happened when there has been no contact with family and friends since Xmas 2019 and double masked with N95 anytime we are out of the house (which is limited to shopping only when stores are empty once a month)
no vax yet dr said wait for Novavax

Yes, of course, mold can be involved. The symptoms of mold and Lyme/co overlap extensively.

I don’t know much about whooping cough, but I remember seeing ads encouraging grandparents to get vaccinated so they don’t unwittingly give it to babies. That makes me think they could be unsymptomatic carriers. Of course you could have been carrying in your body before the lockdown. IGG of 400 isn’t that high for myco. Mine fluctuates between upper 500’s to 800’s. Mold and Lyme/co all mess up your immune system.

is there a specific blood test or urine test to check for mold in the body that can give an actual degree to what is causing the most issues... whether it be PTLDS, CFS or mold exposure. so lost at this point

There are a few ways to test the body for mold.

1. CIRS lab panel as laid out by Shoemaker and evaluated based on his ranges, not the labs. These are with Labcorp/Quest. Some have very specific directions for the lab draw.

2. Mycotoxin urine test from Real-Time Labs or Great Plains Labs (out of pocket)

3. OAT test from Great Plains Lab (my insurance covered this one)

Many doctors use #2 and #3 combined done at the same time.
