I've had eye issues that I was terrified were going to leave me functionally blind, because the neurological/sensitivity issues made it only tolerable to have them closed at times. I'm not sure they're fixed and my docs had no idea what to do but through muddling I've found the following things helped for some reason.
1. resveratrol (japanese knotweed) - this helped a little but it mostly made me think the problem was increased inflammation
2. licorice extract - this helped a lot and the reason why I tried it was because someone used what I considered a sketchy method to say I had parasites and viral issues and I had it around for dysautonomia and had taken it before so I thought, what the heck. Then to my shock it helped a lot
3. lemon balm extract/tea - after licorice success I thought well maybe it wasn't because it was antiviral so I looked around another safe antiviral I had lying around and there was lemon balm tea. It helped too but not as much as licorice
4. theracurmin - a special form of tumeric helped. Regular curcumin did not help
5. mangosteen - helped with a lot of different things including lyme eye issues
6. some binders helped some but not much. Cholestyramine was most helpful but not as helpful as the rest of the list
all this said I still have issues and no doc has had anything helpful or insightful to say about
my eye issues. There was a nice neuro-opthamologist at Johns Hopkins who tried but alas lockdown sort of foiled his efforts.
