What about adding Artemisinin for Babesia with what you’re taking?
You can get it on Amazon
U mean I can add Artemisinin in replacement for the mepron? The doc said
Antibiotics or oils wouldn't work alone that I needed to take it with an antimalarial like mepron////////////////////////////////////
LLMD MR:
“ Mefloquine (Lariam) 250 mg is a prescript
ion medication. Start at 1 pill daily for 5 days, and then take as 1 pill every 5 days. It may cause nausea on the first five days. Mefloquine dissolves and is stored in fat. It takes 5 days or longer to saturate or to fill up the fat. Once the fat is saturated, taking a pill every 5 days keeps the fat saturated.
Combine it with one of the following:
Azithromycin (Zithromax) 500 mg 1 time a day,
Clarithromycin (Biaxin) 500 mg 1 pill 2 times a day,
Doxycycline 100 mg 2 pills 2 times a day, or
Minocycline 100 mg 1 pill 2 times a day.”
He mentions some harsh side effects from Lariam .
“ However, it can have significant mental health side effects like depression and hallucinations or even psychosis. “
LLMD MR also mentions Artemisinin as a treatment.
He does say that you have to pulse it - or it stops working.
First time I took artemisinin I think I took took it for 4 days in a row and then stopped for several days and then repeated.
Second time I took artemisinin I think pulsed it M/W/F - I’d have to find my protocol sheet (it was part of Dr J’s protocols.
