hi Cignet
i am talking houttuynia tincture - approx. 10ml a day - along with a combination of other co-infection herbs incl sida, teasel, cryptolepis and alcornea and berberis (or other berberine herb)
it has taken a long time to build up to this - but over that time i have improved significantly
however on its own for me it hasn't been enough - and so I have also added a number of other approaches and interventions - and put my progress down to the cumulative effect of all of them. i was well and truly stuck until i started thinking long term - focussing on my immune function and combining these approaches.
-wholefoods keto diet - helps a lot
-buhner immune modulating lyme herbs - per his 2nd edition Healing Lyme - also helps long term
-combination T3+T4 medication for hypothyroid - helps energy, and overall welbeing + immune funct
-LDN - seems to help me - esp. with fatigue - and I'm hoping with immune regulation / function
-Methylene Blue for Bart - again in combo with the others ( is a persister drug for bart) - low doses only so far - as have to build up slowly - think it may be helping - but only 6 weeks in and still at only 50% of target ( my target is pretty low - as its not being used as a mono-therapy) - so really too early to tell
- sleep - working har to try to get top 8hrs a night - hard nut to crack but helps tremendously when i get 8hrs
-stress management - have to work to avoid stress / getting overstimulated - drives headaches, fatigue, dysregulation etc
-exercise - had built up to doing a pretty substantial weights workout 1-2x a week - i do believe in what Burrascano's really tries to press home - that without it many of us will not get better - had to start v slow - but had worked up to around 40mins - and was really feeling a benefit in overall function, mood etc - had to stop when started MB - as it flared fatigue - just starting again now.
its almost a full time job and progress is slow - but i am steadily improving - so whilst slower than i would like i can see real lasting changes and forward motion - which is a great source of hope.
