Yeast problems

What do you do to avoid yeast problems while on abx?

I have gotten yeast problems and don't know how to handle that. I am on azithromycin and malarone and will add pyrazinamide when tolerating the first two. My dr doesn't want me to take fluconazole while taking azithromycin. What can I do to combat yeast, is there anything effective for yeast that isn't also killing bart and babs? I already have a lot of herx and hasn't been able to start my full protocol so adding more that affect bart and babs would be problematic.

I am taking
* 90 billion CFU probiotics + megasporebiotic + low dose saccharomyces - I have been a bit afraid of saccharomyces after reading that people with bad immunesystem can get fungemia, and I guess we have bad immunesystems? I don't know how big that risk is for us, maybe it only is my anxiety speaking???

* 2+2 nystatin pills
* Have started this week taking probiotic enemas
* Takes albicansan supps and drops (homeopatic from Sanum Kehlbeck) - but I have no idea how effective that is

This is not enough!

Do you have any suggestion on what to add that preferable isn't killing babs and bart too? Do you take saccharomyces b while on abx, how much? Do you manage to not get yeastissues while on abx?

@Bailey thank you for all your suggestions! I tried monolaurin but got a lot of herx from at least bart... don't remember if it also affected babs.

I didn't know that biotin and niacin was antifungal! Does it have to be the flushing variant of niacin?

Candex - does the breaking down the walls of candida means that candida dies?

Do you use abx and manage to not get yeastinfections?

Biotin and niacin will both drop your bp to some extent. I don’t think it has to be the flushing variant of niacin, but I think all of the types cause me to flush 😭

I think candex kills yeast infections but I can’t use it for very long because it broke too much biofilm. Besides the vitamins and licorice everything on the list breaks my biofilm so I don’t typically use them for yeast. I don’t get yeast infections the way most women do (they don’t hurt). So it’s hard to say whether they’re under control. I take a lot of probiotics and fluconazole snd mangosteen sporadically. I used to also take biotin too at times. I knew there was a girl who swore by candex though. I think some people also like pau d’arco but that one did not agree with me at all.

I’d probably see if the vitamins help first since they’re the most benign.

I will try using coconut oil in the lower regions

Just put a pad on and that way you won’t soil your underwear.
