Now flu like symptoms and a temp

The body aches, sweating and chills now got worse along with the sore throat and now I have a temp. Sitting in my car waiting for a Covid test.

If this isn't Covid then why am I like this??? The pain is almost unbearable, it killed lifting my arms to wash my hair this morning. Still have a migraine. Drenched my sheets last night with seat yet my bedroom a/c was on.

I cannot catch a break. I am terrified. This is making my anxiety worse.

The Covid test was precautionary but yes I had to do it in good faith...I work at a hospital. I have to miss work today,
tomorrow and possibly Friday. It's horrible Bailey. When it rains it pours.

If you've read my earlier post from yesterday I had a friend in the Lyme community mention if I'm having protracted withdrawal syndrome from years on psych meds. Alot of these symptoms are just like Lyme.

I went for a follow up with my new PCP recently and she said chronic Lyme is controversial, that I probably have chronic fatigue syndrome, and fibromalacia and my depression and anxiety is from feeling sick...well duh! I don't know how I kept my composer in that exam room. I won't be seeing her again. Sounds familiar huh?

Yeah I have bad reactions to getting either in or off antidepressants including everything you listed. Honestly if you’re stopping psych meds I’d actually even find it likely that’s what’s causing your issues. Especially if you’re already vaccinated.

In case you’re the misery loves company type... I’ve been terrified I was going to die for the last month or so. I’m slightly more stable now... but I developed some joint/nerve pain a couple days ago that’s making it hard to breathe (nerve gets pinched if I breathe too deep). I’ve gotten this pain before sporadically but it’s just so much is going wrong,... I can’t just take stuff I know makes issues go away because I’m always a little scared I’ll, die of an allergic reaction. I’m both chemically anxious and just realistically anxious because my circumstances suck. When my brother visited recently I sobbed for large parts of the visit because I kept thinking this is the last time I’ll see him and his family.

I unintentionally scared my toddler niece into giving up the stuffed cat she’d grown attached to during the visit to make aunt (Bailey) feel better before they left.

I think before in my illness the mindset was always “this sucks, but we just have to get through it.” Now it’s more like “should I just give up? I’m so cornered and I feel like I just can’t try anymore.”

Hopefully by the end of today or early tomorrow.

I tested negative. Temp continues to to increase though. Pain still there.

With my history of psych meds, taking Methylene Blue ( went off Zoloft) then discontinued the MB then reinstated the Zoloft in a short amount of time I think this is Seratonin Syndrome.

UPDATE*

The nurse from Employee Health called to check on me. I discussed my concerns ( could it be a false negative on covid, Lyme flare_up or Seretonin Syndrome.

I told her I still have zero relief. Regarding the possible Seretonin Syndrome she told me to reach out to my Psych NP so I did..the secretary says she is out till Tuesday, terrific!

The secretary said too at this point esp with the racing heart go to ER or Urgent Care. Def was not going to ER so Urgent Care it was but I was still reluctant.

The provider there took a full history and said he was certain it wasnt Seretonin Syndrome and put me on a low dose of another anxiety med only as needed. On the fence about that. He says I'd be alot sicker if I had Seretonin toxicity...

They re-did my Covid test, did an EKG ( which was normal), bloodwork and a throat culture. I have to miss work tomorrow too but have an absence note from the provider since tomorrow will be day 3 of being out.

Now play the waiting game again.
Really torn on this.

I JUST WANT MY ****ING LIFE BACK!!!!!!!
