I will do a write up on their modalities and how they get results. I want to clear it with the clinic on Monday first tho since some of it is proprietary and I don’t want to give away their secrets without their consent.
The cool thing about
this place is that the staff is very friendly and before you walk through the door, everyone knows who you are and your story. You may have 12 different treatments, but every therapist knows every single thing you did and said that day lol They seem to actually care and they run a tight ship. It’s like no place I’ve been to.
I agree, they do not claim to treat the immune system. But they will also point out that every single person who comes through their doors has neurological inflammation. They believe that by calming the nervous system, you calm the inflammation.
This was the same conclusion that I was coming to through my own research. I think I’ve detailed this on my posts here, but I started to believe that my disease was a case of neurological degeneration, wherein ANS stress was driving inflammation which was driving more ANS stress. That’s how I found this place. You shut down that stress and the inflammation goes down.
They also helped me to piece together how my disease may have began.
It seems like half the cases of neurological deficit here began with a surgery or injury. Which got us looking at my surgery in 2012. I had a blood clot in my right arm, was diagnosed with thoracic outlet as the cause. They had to remove my first rib. It’s a brutal surgery, about
a week recovery in the hospital, because they have to cut a nerve bundle to get on the rib. My right armpit and upper arm is still numb.
Anyway, day after the surgery my arm turned purple. My mom is crying, a team of interns crowded around, j still remember the vascular surgeon saying “this shouldn’t be happening, there is no occlusion”. In hindsight, it was an autonomic response. It was neurological. I had a clean bill of health neurologically going into that surgery, but I was diagnosed with Reynauds a few months later and my ANA went positive. My first diagnosed neurological symptom. In 2013 the migraines started. Then later the anxiety, then the nerve pain.
That surgery triggered the neurological deificit. Reynauds is autonomic. But my inflammation started at the same time. Was triggered by cutting those nerves? Inflammation and dysautonmia are intimately related and drive each other
Am I saying that if you got bitten by a tick yesterday that these are the modalities you need? No, antibiotics 100%. But is it possible that if you’re one of the people who have been treating for years, don’t know if you still have an infection, primarily have neurological symptoms and/or dysautonomia…well these guys are the dysautonomia experts.
We’ve talked a lot about
DNRS, dysautonomia, autonomic feedback causing inflammation, etc, so figured I’d just outline what I’m doing so you guys can follow along. It’s interesting, to say the least.
All of that being said, and the results I’ve seen in others aside, it remains to be seen how I am going to do. I will let you guys know how I do after a few more weeks. I’m only 3 weeks in. I plan on staying for the 12 weeks.
I’ve made up my mind already, that even if I’m one of the few that it doesn’t work for me, I will never say a bad word about
this place, because I’ve already seen the amazing good that they do.
They have a podcast that gives kind of an overview of how they approach illness. I liked number 3 about
why modern medicine fails
