Germ Theory Versus Terrain Theory
This is something I stumbled on awhile back. My brain fog was so bad/inconsistent back them I couldn't retain much. Watching a covid post reminded me that at some point a few years ago I switched from Germ to Terrain Theory. However not 100%.
So the basic premise is this as I understand is and note these are very simple descript
ions:
1. Germ Theory: Many Illness are the results of germ and bacteria and in many cases the best approach is Antibiotics. Or a bug killer. Also the vaccine approach is to generate a immune response to strengthen the body
2. Terrain Theory: We are exposed to all kinds of germs and bacteria good and bad and its a compromised body that allowed them to flourish.
While I have my opinions and ill state why, that's not really the intent of this post. I wanted to see who else out there is trying more of a Terrain approach and how its' going. Seem like most here on this take the approach of Germ Theory as the primary strategy and Terrain as the secondary. (BTW this is most definitely the norm in all western medicine) However there's also he pharmaceutical versus natural germ killing approach.
I guess the best way to to describe myself it a Terrain Theory as a primary and understanding that infections do occur and there's a place for Natural and even Pharmaceutical approach. So lets say that you cut yourself, in this case your skin in no longer there to protect your body. Therefore your prone to infections until your skin heals and while there may be natural remedies, most have been synthesized into a pharmaceutical drug. Also surgeries. Major trauma to the body and abx to avoid a deadly infection.
However for my Chronic infection/condition I did start out Germ with ABX, then Natural(Cowden) then both Pham/Natural for parasites/worm then went 100% Terrain for about
3 years now.
Issue with Terrain is how to determine what your body needs or what is there that needs to be removed.
Mold: Seems like this is a bit of both. Is it that your body is too weak to manage exposure or is excess mold exposure tying up resources to address your other exposure?
Heavy Metals: This is the one I know the best now and can attest first hand that it helps. This one involves Mercury exposure to amalgams and vaccines that disrupt the body ability to manage nutrients. So in short regardless of how healthy you eat, if you body cannot process and use the nutrients, you have all kinds of issues.. Including the ability to manage Lyme Spirochetes. Or that's the theory at least.
Both of the above are Terrain Theory approaches.
If anyone aware of any others? Chemical or Exposure. There is EMF and I do take precautions. Curious
