The Maraviroc + Statins protocol for Chronic Lyme.

I found this on a different forum.

Maraviroc is originally an HIV drug.

Apparently this drug is repurposed in a protocol that started to treat long-covid and covid-vaccine injuries. Then they started applying it to Chronic Lyme patients and are observing some positive results.

If you start this audio at 53 minutes and 16 seconds, they are talking about the results in Chronic Lyme.

Some thoughts I have myself:

- The last link are someone's notes on a conference, I'm don't know how accurate it is. I don't personally agree with the "no Lyme to be found" either. So I'm glad the person who made the notes pointed that out. I can't verify if that really has been said though, because I wasn't at the conference.

- Regardless of how the protocol works, the anecdotal evidence from the audio is interesting.

- I wonder how much Maraviroc + Statins plays a role in the Maraviroc + Statins + Ivermectin protocol. As I have heard about some really impressive recoveries with Ivermectin by itself, for vaccine injuries and long-covid. So I'm not sure how much can be attributed to The Maraviroc + Statins when they added Ivermectin into it as well. I'm also not sure if they add the Ivermectin in the Chronic Lyme protocol because they don't mention it in the audio.

- I read that there is a facebook group about this protocol for Lyme. I can't find it as I don't have facebook. But I figured someone might want to know that it's out there.

That's interesting Bailey.

I think that Ivermectin helps more as a immunoregulator in Lyme. Whereas in the co-infections it might have additional benefits. I don't know the effects on biofilms.

Thank you, RainyCloud!!! This is very interesting. I read a couple of the links - Mayo and Health Rising, I think. The Mayo drug info was hair raising. Loads of frightening side effects including SJS. I believe the other mentioned it has at least one black box warning, too.

The Health Rising article was informative. Sounds like he may really have cracked the code on long-COVID. Unfortunately, his search for cytokines involved in ME/CFS were unrevealing. Not sure what he will find with Lyme. Do Lyme patients have a common denominator or are we all over the place like ME/CFS?

Very glad to see someone plow headlong into helping COVID patients. Hopefully they won’t end up like us. Praying that we get a huge breakthrough, too. It’s decades overdue. Whatever breakthrough we get, I hope it is a short treatment without horrible side effects.

There is a FB group of people who have tried Patterson's protocol for chronic Lyme. There seem to be some people who see benefit. I did not notice anything from pravastatin, but never tried Maraviroc due to the majority negative feedback in that group.

That wasn't about my own treatment. That sentence came from that blog.

As Garzie said, I don't think there is a "right one" for everyone.

I'm still treating myself, not anywhere near remission yet, but I'll get there 🙂

Just got my lab results. The following markers are high.

TNF-ALPHA
IL-4
IL-13
IL-2
SCD40L
CCL5 (RANTES)
IL-6
IL-10
IL-8

It’s about 9 out of 15. Results came back faster than expected. So at least there’s that.

My il-4 in particular seems to be high which Wikipedia tells me causes allergies and high tgf beta, which I know mine is also high.

Keep in mind that they did not use Maraviroc so maybe that's what makes the big difference by itself. Also, it's early Lyme, so that might be different.

I can't see the entire study so I'm not sure what happened.
