I'm so sorry to hear you're dealing with all of this.

I think it's really positive that you are on this forum, that way we can help.

The alternative is keeping all these difficult problems to yourself and that's not good at all.

In terms of the picture, I don't know enough about skin issues to comment on it, but I think the general rule is to get things like this checked out by a dermatologist or doctor. That does not mean it's the worst case scenario, in fact, most times it's not. However, you just want to just rule it out, you know?

Who knows, maybe it will tell you more about your health in general. So it could be a positive. A way to get more information about what's going on.

That's odd about the "adult 18+. As you can see, it is not that kind of check . All my blood tests with reds and whites came back normal, as did platelets. In fact, they were improved some. So I don't know what implications the mark(s) mean. Nothing that would indicate a blood disease. But I'll get it checked.

The skin issues have been there from the start. The loss of mid-dermal elasticity has really bothered me, which became much worse after aortic valve replacement, but the white areas on skin have really gotten worse, followed by the blood spots and streaks. I try not to be vain, but every time I se it, I am reminded of what is going on.

I am wondering if it is going to get worse as I treat more. Just don't hear about a lot of people having so many changes in skin.

Well, I can tell you my skin issues, maybe that helps in knowing that you're not alone.

Basically, I lost most of my hair. When I look in the mirror, sometimes I feel absolutely miserable about it.

I'm getting better, a lot better, with how I feel about it, but it took a while to get there.

The hair that I have left sometimes the skin under it sometimes just randomly has this white layer of peeling skin on it, I think it's either severe dandruff or fungal. I think bartonella caused this.

My ear has the same, random white flaking, also behind my ear.

The skin on my arms are a mess, I have gritty bumps all over.

Some of those bumps are different, they are filled with something, which eventually falls out and leave a crater behind.

I have stretch marks from bart all over my stomach, under my armpits etc. There is a chance this is related to the time I was so fatigued with lyme that I couldn't cook for myself, which led to fast food and weight gain. I lost the weight again but the damage is done. Either that or bart or both.

The gritty bumps are also on my legs now.

So yeah, Lyme and co did a lot of damage that way, it's really difficult to mentally deal with seeing my skin this way.

I'm just telling you this so you know you're not alone.

Do you remember dacarte3? He is as from GA, too. He had a lot of skin, collegen, and cartilage issues, especially in the face. I know his email was enabled. He hasn’t been here in a few years, probably. I wonder if he got all that resolved?
