Babesia daily or pulsed?

It really depends on the llmd. If he has success with his patients - I don’t see any reason to be concerned with the schedule.

My Babesia meds were pulsed - MWF

Cycle 1 - it was two weeks on and one week off.

Cycle 2 was two weeks on and two weeks off.

Then I continued with the cycle 2 for another 4 months


Ceftin, Bactrim, Mepron , Artemisinin, Enula

Also xylitol (1/2 tsp) and lactoferrin (250 mg) for just week 1 only.Days: 1-7

I changed out the bactrim for mino after I had a few skin blemishes show up

I forgot - week 2 Flagyl (or Tinidazole) is taken.

I'm currently taking daily mino, bactrim and 2 X malarone - twice a day.

I react severely to new meds or dose increases, it's really hard to describe what happens.

I’m doing well now. After the Babesia protocols I went on to the Bart/Persisters protocols - difficult to tolerate but made good gains. Herxes were brutal.

Im on Maintenance now - have been for awhile.
Im back to work (after 6 years of not being able to work) and I’d say I feel about 80-90% well.

Now I take meds 4 days a month.
Basically one week on and 3 weeks off.
I have been stretching the time off and don’t think I’ve relapsed.
I still have some upper back pain - is it active infection? Or is my back damaged - and will take more time to heal - or maybe this is as good as it gets.
And my memory has suffered - which really sucks.
