Help with test

Hi! I tested positive for lyme 15 years ago and was given 2 weeks of doxycycline. Recently have been having a lot of fatigue and joint pain. Thought I had rheumatoid arthritis. Test came back negative. Was then tested for lyme. Lyme IgG/IgM was positive. On the line blot test IgG P39, IgG P18 and IgM P23 were positive. Doctor said results just show a past infection and are not clinically significant. Is this true? I feel awful and had a large purple/red rash on the back of my knee about 8 weeks ago. It was not a clear bullseye rash like I had the first time I was diagnosed so I thought it was a spider bite. We live in a wooded area with a high rate of lyme. We have cats and dogs that bring ticks inside despite being treated for ticks monthly. Am I crazy for thinking I might have lyme and not just old antibodies left over from 15 years sho?
