Dr H's Dapsone + doxy + rifampin is this the best combination known so far?

It depends on who you ask.

Dr H would say his is the best. Dr J would argue his protocol is better… lol.
Dr J prefers Rifabutin over Rifampin.
Dr J likes minocycline but I think Dr H prefers doxy.

(Correct me if I’m wrong)

its a tough protocol

even Dr H only uses it on those that have failed multiple other combination antibiotic regimes
- hard on the body - lots of side effects - some significant / high risk
- requires careful management with lots of safety labs

for this reason not an easy option

Where can I find full details on this protocol? dosage, tests, monitoring, dos and dont,s ?

Dr J also has a Persisters protocol.
But he doesn’t only prescribe his persister protocol for those who have failed other combo regimes tho.
I wouldn’t say it’s high risk either.
There are similarities to Dr H’s protocol.

I only did the safety labs once a month.

Horowitz describes it well in his book "how can i get better"
its one of the better books out there on treating lyme disease by one of the best known LLMD's and well worth a read

his approach is broad encompassing many areas of health and incorporates elements of functional medicine - but is heavy on antibiotics - esp for hard to treat patients
