Anything I've ever seen about cordyceps and kidneys has been a positive toward helping kidneys. According to studies I've seen and numerous other stories about it, cordyceps, supposedly, lowers creatinine (good thing), helps lower protein in urine for those with that problem, lowers inflammation, increases hemoglobin, etc...
I've been using cordyceps for about three years now with no problems. Of course, all meds and herbs don't fit everyone, but it has all been positive here. Studies in NCBI are the ones I look at as they seem to have the most validation. Perhapsp Google ncbi cordyceps, and you should find a lot of information that would help you in your search for information, Canary.
