Cleaning posdible mold out of grout

I am making sure there’s no mold in grout in bathroom of new place. There are some dark spots so I want to clean and then seal.
Any recommendations?

Thinking of using vinegar/ baking powder combo.
What about cromidium (spp) that they selling at Lowe’s?

I never heard of that product. I tried to research this this morning but I guess I got sidetracked before I found an answer. The vinegar baking powder sounds like a good start. Peroxide and borax are other safe options. The problem is grout is porous so the mold is likely beyond the surface.

If it’s widespread, you may need to remove the old grout and regrout.

years ago i used bleach and a scrubbing brush on mold on tile grout to remove all of the visible mold - then treated it afterwards with a strong solution of borax to try and stop it coming back - and it seemed to do the job

I have been using vinegar with added eucalyptus and clove oil. Put it in a spray bottle and work it in with an old toothbrush you dont use anymore. It seems to work well. Amazon are offering a grout pen which is supposed to be antimould if you want to try that. It looks interesting.
