Yep, what Garzie said.

My take on this -
If your gut is "off", then Gut health is everything. YOUR gut IS your immune system. We are all different, and it takes YOUR tried experiences to find out what works best for YOU. In a few weeks to months you can see improvements. It can take years to get it really balanced sometimes, and only a week of eating the wrong things to set it off again. I have a recent post on this.
Best plan first step for natural SIBO control is eliminating all FODMAP foods for a few weeks and note any improvements.

A body cannot heal if your gut is not healthy. Ive taken this to the next level:
Understanding thru trial and error what you gut likes (minimizing different forms of physical symptoms) and what your blood likes (minimizing blood cytokine inflamation) can also be two different things. This is important also because of the autoimmune and under immune (deficiency) possibility. I have both. Many with out either have opinions on it, but having this happen is true experience, which is my case. Unfortunately I technically have Immune deficiency (under the low limit on two immunoglobulins), but do not take IVG for it. This can linked to past gut health issues.
Some "foodies" with autoimmune ignore it and continue to slowly degrade their health, not knowing or not caring about
their food choices and / or quality of life / lifespan. Conventional healthcare does not do much in this area either- because it can be confusing and has no quick cure ("popping" pills does not correct immune problems).
Good thing is anyone who graduated from highschool and has online access can learn about
proper gut and immune health.
Learn and take care of your gut.
