Has anyone ever had Vasculitis from Neuro Lyme?

I have had it for a year.

I had red dots all over my body and I was diagnosed with Vasculitis by a dermatologist and I recently read that it could be a symptom of Neuro Lyme.

both bartonella and its cousin organism - and likely the related brucella or Q-fever - are known to cause damage to the micro blood vessels in the circulation system

this can cause angioma ( little red dots to appear ) as well as more obvious damage to the blood vessels - including burst blood vessels - easy bruising - and odd patterns like livedo reticularis to appear over the skin.

bartonella in particular is linked also to errant growth of blood vessels - via its ability to stimulate VEGF ( Vascular Endothelia Growth Factor) that drive proliferation of new blood vessel growth - which can result in angiomatous lesions or growths in organs or other tissue

lyme disease - as in borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato infection has also been linked to vasculitis is patients - but i guess its hard to tell if this is truly due to the spirochete or one of the co-infections - since most patients have co-infections as well as lyme

i was dx with a sulfa induced vasculitis after a slight sjs episode with bactrim . red dots , purple livedo reticulutis , i think the fibrin and biofilms literally clogged microvasculature. during bartonella treatment i did many things to help before bvt , iv vitamin c drips of 50g , iv curcumin , a zhang supplement called circ p , the probiotic l planterium helped Nitic oxide levels to inflate bp. also lumbrokinase on a empty stomach seemed to help also when i added chanca piedra during treatment blood flow improved. keep us posted
