23 band positive

Over 3 years ago i was diagnosed with ringworm. Took antibiotics. Have spent entire life outside. Started having tremors and hand weakness. Hurt my neck. Spoer stressful time. Tremors went full body. Can barely hold things with either hand. Muscle atrophy.surgery not warranted at this time. Severe weight loss. Terribke tmj. Vision issues. Probabke thyroid cancer with hashis. List goes on. Tested 2 years ago with only 1 igg band positive. Tested again 23 igm positive and 3 ither igg. Where do i go from here? My doctors already think i am crazy with all my revolving symptoms. Went from hard core endurance athlete to jello. Is this lyme? Do i request antibiotics? Spinal tap? I can't take much more suffering. But i also dont have funds to go fown any more medical rabbitholes. I currently live in sw florida.

Cannot forget that Hashimoto is an autoimmune condition. This means you may have in time , other autoimmune conditions too. Endo doctor seem to ignore the fact they don’t seem to care, tunnel vision focused on prescription drugs and lab testing.

Some people with autoimmune conditions have trouble creating actual antibody levels for other conditions. This makes diagnosing sometimes a little more cloudy than it already is.

I've been gf for years.
Nuero issues very scary. Ive been to 5 nueros. No one seems concerned that i have lost all the mass in my arms. Loss of balance,and coordination. Have been tested for ms, als, parkinson, lupus (pos ana and and anca) gb. My face is half numb plus toes. Now non stop headaches. Severe anxiety and depression. Menopause (at 47).All came on like a tidal wave. Looking for path forward as i am sure my drs will coninue to dismiss me. Help!

Welcome to the forum.
Band 23 is Lyme specific - only Lyme will produce that band.
On top of that test - you present with symptoms that could be attributed to Lyme.

Do you have photos of the ring worm? Could have been a “bullseye” rash produced by Lyme.

Many functional MDs that treat Lyme also try their best to get your gut improved before going after the tick infections.

As far as your athletic worries go yes it’s possible to return to that but it takes time.
I had to realize a while ago when I was your age is that age also catches up to you. Mentally I was the same as when I was younger but I had to understand the fact that my body would no longer recover as fast, even after the lyme was gone. That’s just age.

So even though I feel much better now than I did 10 years ago I’m just not gonna do those same things anymore, not competitively anyway. In my case, I also did pretty well competitively and really have nothing left to prove. Good memories and good times even though I was in pain with lyme. I really wish I could do it all over again from a younger age without Lyme. That would be a dream come true. Oh well. At least now I have more time to just relax!

Thyroidectomy-
I don't remember the size, but it is small, hiding under a much larger nodule. I've had 2 biopsies, both suspicious, abnormal cells. The molecular test showed the same with 50/50 cancer probability. Surgeon did an ultrasound and said it showed signs of calcification. I have nodules on both nodes, but so far only 1 is highly irregular.

Would love to hear your lyme success story. I have been hanging on by my teeth most days since my body went nuclear. Lyme seems to explain most things going on, especially with the so called ringworm and spending most of my waking hours in the great outdoors.
