Sun certainly feels good in the winter. I’m sitting on the couch with the late afternoon sun coming through the blinds right now. Days are finally getting longer.
I envy people who could walk that long with Lyme disease. It’s great that you can do that. But I guess you are finally in the first part of the healing stages by now.?
My hips and lower back were a wreck, it was pretty hard to walk on man-made surfaces for longer than a block. I did most of my walking in a local park with uneven natural surfaces and nature trails - Then just worked up to longer nature walks further away.
Biking was much easier but at one point, one summer I could not bicycle at all without pain.
Your doing pretty good. I’m also kind of amazed at your structured fitness plan.
I pretty much had to work out depending on how I felt that day, (that’s still how I do it to some extent).
Do you ever have enough winter snow where you’re at to go snowshoeing?
Its just an overall great workout on the whole body. And it’s smooth moving with no “heel strike” feel.
(I was thinking of going today but I’m just too tired from four days of snow removal.)
