I had a horrible humiliating experience today at a San Antonio walk-in clinic, where I went because I was in such severe pain. It's too long to describe here, but I'm sure others have experienced the same.
I have had severe headaches 3-4 days per week for 30 years while raising 2 children and working as an engineer. I have started a new job in Dallas and I desperately need a new doctor who will prescribe me narcotics. I have read through the postings and seen a few newer preventatives that I haven't tried - at one point, I had tried them all, but newer ones are always coming up. I would like to try these, but I need to have pain medicine to function. I am currently living in fear of my migraines as they have been worse lately and I need to be able to function. I will be traveling internationally and I can not afford to be in Poland or some far away place and have no medicine.
Can anyone recommend a sympathetic doctor in Dallas or surrounding area? I just went through epidural steriod injections/physical therapy (for the 2nd time) with no luck, and most of the pain management clinics seem to focus on that type of treatment.
Thanks,
Valerie
