Thoughts and prayers for Kala UK, as she is currently in a Neurological Hospital who specialize in Headache and has been there for about 10 days or so.

She went in for the GONB (Greater Occipital Nerve Block) and was taken ill while she was there, and everything they have thrown at this has not worked for her. She is still in a lot of pain and is also waiting for her Hemiplegic Migraine to arrive.

Thankfully she is in a centre of excellence for this type of thing and I am confident that they will find a way forward for her eventually. It is just very tough for her right now!

I have been to see Kala today and she is feeling very rough and is still in a lot of pain, and is still status migrainous. She is currently on a lignocaine infusion which so far has not had any effect, but they will be increasing the dosage.

If this fails they may try DHE and it seems she may be there a further week!
