Does Neurontin help chronic daily headache?

Has anyone had good results from Neurontin for chronic daily headaches? If so, how many mg do you take? How long did it take to kick in? I'm taking 400 mg. for about
4 weeks and no significant results.

I take 300mg 3 times a day, and 600mg at bedtime. It hasn't done anything at all for my headaches. It's helped the neuopathy inmmensly, but nothing for the headaches. I hope you start to feel better soon!

Thanks for responding. I have diabetes T2 and am beginning to develop neuropathy so may need this in the future. Right now my headaches are the main problem.

Like Metallichic, it didn't do much for head pain, but helped the neuropathy...it also would make me kind of space out, for long periods of time....not good when you're driving down the highway!

Hi LdyJane. Thanks for responding. It is good to know that if my neuropathy gets bad, I can take Neurontin. Would have responded sooner, but when my head hurts, I don't feel like reading or writing. Glad your neuropathy is better.
