I have been getting these migranes since I was 15 years old. Asking for help since that time with symptoms like, right side of body numb, half tongue numb, can't properly find the words to speak right, no strength in right hand, like a simulated stroke, lasting minutes, to hours, to days to weeks, aura aound the head, eyes, face numb, arms numb, un-coordinated, all culminating to an exhaustive state. Later years after child birth, the MRI's came and stress tests and blood tests and I was told to take Aleve. So I have my good days and bad days, hold down a full-time job, few ever knowing what I deal with most days. I reviewed all the comments and I wonder if the drugs being taken are helping anyone. I sometimes have it and sometime don't; the good news is I rarely have the extreme pain not to underplay the confusion, weakness, sometimes blindness in part, etc. I am now 51. It seems to be getting more and more often with right hip and right shoulder pain being more consistent, and now I am worrying that it will become a permanent state. any studies on this anyone knows of with respect to progression?
