Numbness at back of head

Recently i have found that when i lay down or have my head against something for example a car seat, I have a numbness that appears in the back of my head. A numbness alot like having a dead arm or foot. When i pick my head up or move it around i am getting a feeling of blood rushing back to the spot.
This is becoming more and more frequent and would be highly grateful for any information given.
