Anyone heard of or have Persistent Idiopathic Facial Pain?

I just found this diagnosis on the internet, and it sounds exactly like what I have. I've posted before about my headache - it's been two months since the sudden onset of intense, one-sided pain in my face, ear, temple, side of my head and part of my neck. I've tried many meds for headache and narcotics are the only thing that provide temporary relief. I'm being treated at Jeff's headache center and they've ruled out the major causes. I go back to the center later this week with all of my test results and records for Dr. Silberstein, but I was wondering about this diagnosis. Does anyone know about it, particularly treatment options, or have it?

Thanks for the response. After I posted this, I saw the doc, who found stenosis in a blood vessel on the side of my head where I have pain. They are now looking for the cause and will then discuss treatment.
I've tried nortriptyline with no success, unfortunately.
