I'm so sorry to hear about
both problems. My migraines started while I was pregnant so I know one of my triggers is definitely hormones. I too had a miscarriage but it's been about
5-6 yrs ago so I can't remember if I got a migraine then or not. So I'm sure your body is having a time with pretty intense hormone levels. They kept measuring mine for a couple months to make sure they had gone down to normal.
I think it would be worth it for you to try to take something for your pain, even if it is just over the counter if you don't have anything prescription. And if you have to, call your doctor and ask for something specific for a migraine AND nausea. You need to take care of yourself so you can take care of the toddler.
Maybe you can get someone else to run to the pharmacy and then come over for a bit to watch the 2 yr old while you nap? I remember that there was one time I had to call in sick to work and then call my husband b/c I just couldn't do anything when my kids were about 4. They could only watch TV for so long before they got bored and in trouble! I almost thought maybe I should go to the hospital b/c it was "the worst headache I'd ever had" (like those warning signs say to do - like for a stroke or menengitis or something). I couldn't even get out of bed to get to the car if I'd had the gumption to go to the doctor. So you need your rest to feel better.
Plus if your migraine has gone on for a week, you should also probably get it checked out. You need to get it stopped if it hasn't let up. If it comes and goes, I think that's better, but still not good! Take care of yourself and let us know how it goes...
