Last night I tried something - and it worked... Benadryl... 1 pill - I actually woke up with almost no migraine... I feared I was getting one, so I hopped out of bed, started to do my shoulder & neck exercises... and went outside, to breathe fresh air, and I seemed to have escaped it for this 1 day...
I don't no where that post went either... ?
But yes, when I'm closer to the Equator - or near water - Sea Level - whether it be Hawaii, Tahiti, Honduras, etc. - I'm basically Migraine free... and I can eat anything, drink anything, and nothing gives me a headache...
Crazy, it's all weather/pressure related along with all the other stuff...
kayaking & snorkeling and just moving the upper body as much as possible, swimming, etc. Really helps the muscles and blood flow for me and it sounds like it does for you too...
I am not going to bother with any more doctors, studies, etc. unless I stumble upon them - I am on a major research hunt for the Migraineurs out there... I'm going to find my own way like I did last night - and use the drugs the way I think they work best for me... and as soon as I find the right combination, I'll gladly tell anyone suffering... There has to be an end - otherwise, I'll be looking for Kevorkian's book...
Because today even though I've had a light headache and almost started to get a migraine when the temperature went up 20+ degrees in a very short time... and the pressure built up in the air... I took another benadryl and granted, I fell asleep - but, the pain went from say a 1 to a 0 whereas usually each day is at a 10+
Try benadryl... I think it has to do with inflamation, it lessens it - I'm going to take one again tonight... It will be quite interesting if I wake up with a raging migraine or not -
I'm in So. Cal. -
