Botox to ease migraines

I recently had Botox injections and they helped eased the cycle of daily migraines, but I am still experiencing headaches triggered by loud noises and bright sunlight. Has anyone else tried Botox?

I have had 3 sessions of botox, they do not completely get rid of the pain (I have constant migraine 24/7) but it greatly reduces it to a level where I can live and work.  The treatment does not last the 3 mths it should on me and starts to wear off at about 2 mths but it is the best treatment I have tired so far.  I still have to avoid lous noises/bright sunlight/stress (ha!) and not get too tired.

The botox did not help me at all, and it was sooo expensive. I only had one session and it cost $2,700.00! I had to pay $400.00 out of pocket, thank goodness for insurance. I can't afford to go every three months and pay $400.00 when it didn't relieve any of the pain at all. I am in a terrible migraine cycle right now. I have had a migraine for weeks now! The hot weather does not help and bright lights and sun kill me. I haven't had a pain free day in so long! Holding on to my Faith!

Botox did not work for my headaches either. Nothing has worked. No fun at all living in my shoes or anyone

else here.

Reading your responses was so helpful to me, and it is especially helpful to meet others who have the same problems with light and sound on a daily basis. I love these forums...it is good to know I'm not alone, especially because the migraines suddenly came back yesterday. Thank you so much for sharing!
