I just had my PFO closure surgery on Tuesday, Feb. 14 (how appropriate!) and since then, I'm easily exhausted. I am feeling a tightness in my chest and almost as though something is "poking" me in the chest. My arms hurt. My neck hurts. I feel "fragile." And, I'm constantly in a panic that I will have another stroke. I'm 37 and I had a full stroke about three weeks ago, same time I found out I have cancer. It has been a heck of a month. Does anyone know how likely it is to have a stroke even after the PFO closure? Lying down makes breathing more difficult. Tightness in chest won't go away with resting, either. Makes it worse. I don't know. I just wish someone could tell me, "Okay, this is normal. This means you're having a heart attack and you need to call the ER." I've enjoyed reading the posts on here. Scary stuff. Thanks, Donna
