Michigan Head Pain doctor recommendations?

Hello,
I live in south east Michigan and currently a patient at Michigan Head Pain and Neurological Institute (MHNI). But, I'm looking to switch Neuros. If anyone lives in Michigan that can recommend someone that would be great! Thanks.

That's funny, I was thinking of checking out that place! I currently see Dr. Rossman at the MIND institute on Orchard Lake Rd. I really like him, but because I still have so many headaches, I was thinking of getting a second opinion. I'm not sure if he takes on migraine patients anymore, because I believe his main focus is MS. It's a really nice facility with a wonderful staff. I had to get the "cocktail" IV to kick a month long migraine, and the nurses were wonderful too.

If you don't mind my asking, why are you looking for someplace new? Would it be worth my time to go to that place?

The reason I'm looking to try someone new is because I have been a patient for almost 2 years and I haven't found enough relief. Plus, my doctor and I sometimes butt heads a bit on treatment! I may just be a difficult case so, you could try there and see if they have any new recommendations for you? There staff is also great. Have you contacted U of M? Dr. Wade Cooper is good but he has a pretty long waiting list. But, you can always call and try to see if there are cancellations.. or at least get your name on the books for the time being.
