Just been reading on the daily mail website, that coffee can actually help :s

this goes against everything i have been told.

anyone benefit from coffee?

If I take an Immitrex, it will not work if I don't drink a cup of coffee with it.

strange, thought caffeine was a main cause of migraines?

Ive had migraines for 5 years now everyday for the past 2. Caffeine is good for migraines because it opens up blood vessels in the brain which is one causes headaches in the first place. I drink a red bull with my med when I feel like ones coming on

A cup of coffee when I get the aura helps the codeine work better - i end up needing twice as much codeine without caffeine.

Tartrazine causes my migraines.

not so fast there are pros and cons to drinking coffee for pain/ remember coffee is a stimulant . read the following
