Has ANYONE experienced what I've been going through for four long months now? I'm terrified?

Hi everyone.
Back in October I suddenly got this high-pressure headache out of nowhere. Kind of like throbbing in my head with the occasional pain pulses. I went to the doc who said it was a sinus infection, got medicine and got sent on my way.

I took my antibiotics and the nasal spray and after about a week my headache cleared up, but then a few days later it was back just as bad and I went to the ER this time from how bad it was. Again, they told me it was a sinus infection that just hadn't cleared up. Sent me on my way with new medicine.

Now, I have constant 24/7 pain in my head. I can't even explain what it feels like, it's just this pressure and pulse and noises sound so much louder and more painful than ever before these past few weeks. I've tried everything, nothing makes the pain go away and I get occasional head rushes where I feel dizzy and just.. off too.

I have a neurologist appointment on the 6th of February so I guess I just need to keep grinning and bearing this pain until then but I'm seriously freaking myself out.

Did anyone ever send you to an Ent? If not, then if the neurologist doesn't find anything then I think an Ent should be your next step. I know my migraines leave me some pressure the day after but only when I move my head quickly.

Poor you. I think it is so awful not to know what is going on. I too have posted recently regarding symptoms which have returned with vengeance - it is frightening to feel so out of control. It terrifies me this feeling of dizziness and head pains but my doc says he can't do anymore and has written me off. I feel that my life is slipping by whilst this illness all but consumes me and I can do nothing as I used to while I feel this way.

Do you have ear pains?

I do hope you get some answers.

Thank you both for responding. This is just driving me mad because I'm a full time college student and I work 30 hours a week on top of that and this constant pain is beginning to drive me insane and I'm already losing my motivation to attend class.

I do have ear pain actually. Not as often as the headaches but sometimes it'll almost feel like something's leaking out of my ear but there's nothing there.. if that makes sense? Or sometimes it'll be a deep throb from deep within my ear. My doc looked in my ears a few times though and didn't see any signs of an ear infection?

Have all the same symptoms as you...

It is LYME DISEASE. See an LLMD. Chronic all of the sudden head pressure=lyme/co-infections.

Do NOT see an infectious disease doctor. If you have a western blot done and at least one strand comes back positive, you have Lyme. An infectious disease doctor will not treat you. Request to see the whole test for yourself. Be your own advocate! I have the head pressure and I know what it is like. It took me 8 months to get correctly tested by a lyme literate doctor.
