Sensitive to the meds for Migraines

I have been on the 3 top drugs that my doctor likes to use for migraines and I have had most of the side effects from them. I went back today to my GP and he said that I will be hard to treat because of this and he is referring me to another Neuro to see for a second opinion. I didn't care for the 1st one he sent me too. It is so depressing to have to go through this....my quality of life is starting to suffer...There has got to be something that someone can do.... Does anyone else have sensitivity to meds????

I generally feel the side effects to every med they've ever put nee in except the ones that are supposed to work.... like if it says " causes drowsiness"... doesn't effect me. but I'll feel the rage from some, the joint pains from some, the separation from some too... they never help my headaches and I told my primary that if I find one that takes away the pain, I'll deal with the side effects... it's yet to happen. I'm sorry you're going through the same things.
