Does anyone get jaw stiffness or a a lumpy feeling in their throat as a part of their aura?

I get a stiff jaw all the time, especially when I have migraine symptoms. I also clench my teeth. I am sure it's all related but I saw an oral surgeon and he said there was nothing I could do for my jaw issues.

I have used my night guard so much through cycles of migraines over the years that I have cracked mine from clenching so hard. It is actually time to have a new one made.

No problem ! Lucille ... I just wish I could get someone to answer some of my ???
I am glad I could help u. Some Insurance plans will pay for this if you get a letter from a Neurologist and submit it to your medical insurance and Dental as a preventative/ form of treatment for your migraines others consider it cosmetic, so you may have to pay out of pocket I did .

I definitely get jaw soreness. I clench my jaw when I'm in pain. I have to really focus on not clenching.
