Recently, my neurologist and I had a long conversation about
young children and teenagers getting migraines. She told me that she has patients as young as SIX YEARS OLD with migraines.
The cause is video game playing. The subject came up when we were discussing my problem with the flickering computer screen, which is why I don't post here as often anymore. If I'm on line very long, I will get a migraine.
She said that there is so much flashing during most video games that this is causing migraines in children and teenagers, and even adults who play video games frequently.
So those of you who are adults who play video games, stop playing for several weeks and see how you feel. You might be pleasantly surprised.
And for parents who have kids with headaches, take those video games away and talk to their doctors about it.
This might just be the answer you've been looking for.
As an aside, my sister's step son was suffering from siezzures. Turns out his video game was causing them. He has been siezure-free since he stopped playing the game.
