nose?

I've been experiencing daily headaches for about 7 years. Which was defined as tension headaches by my neurologists (therefore they gave me medicines in order to fix that kind of headache. I used several different drugs in these 7 years).

But... Yesterday I went to a doctor to find a solution to my clogged nose (I have my nose clogged for about 10 years, but I didn't take it seriously before). He said that in one of my nose holes, there is a huge amount of flesh expansion, which makes it hard for me to breath, because the hole is too small and it's filled with flesh/meat... And he said that he is certain that my headaches are triggered by this nose problem. And if we make a surgery to heal this problem, my headaches will most probably go away...

Does anyone know anything about this kind of headache caused by nose/breathing problems? Can I be hopeful about this surgery? That it will heal my headaches?

He didn't say anything about a deviation. But the thing is that, I can clearly see what he meant by "enlargement of flesh" in the film. One side of my nose is much more filled than the other. There's ahuge difference between the normal one and the other which has enlargement of flesh/meat (I don't know how to put it, bu I guess flesh is the right word)
He also added that there's no sinus problem (therefore it can't be typical sinus headache). The thing he underlined was that one side of the nose is blocked and the air is not passing through... And lack of oxygen means headache, or is it?
I f this is the case, than 7 years of tension headache treatment is meaningless which caused me to gain many many weights, and made me depressive, made me sleepy... and all those problems, which you know caused by sibelium, cipram, topamax, depakin and all those other durgs I used through the years...
I don't know if I should be happy or sad... If this nose problem is the thing that causes my daily hedaches... :) :(

What a difference a visit to a new physician makes.
I'm no physician. I will nonetheless pass on this bit of knowledge : your description of a flesh expansion (and not a sinus problem) makes me think some of your headaches could be caused by the strong pressure caused by this significant enlargement. Before any operation, would you consider a treatment with corticosteroids ? They act on inflammation. Some of them are nasal sprays (the only that comes to mind is Flonase, generic fluticasone - there are many other that are equally efficacious), other are pills (not a first choice by a long shot).
They are mostly used for allergies and sometimes for sinutis (although the latter use is not approved by the FDA) but the effect is the same : they reduce inflammation. This might reduce the number of headaches.
This is just a suggestion of an avenue to explore : I might be completely off track. If so, please forgive me.
