Hi Guys,
Just got my copy of the letter sent to my GP from the Headache Specialist. It says that my blood tests confirm that I am post-menopausal, and everything else is normal.
However, the MRI was not completely clear. Here is the quote from the letter:
'The left side of the pituitary was felt to be a little bulkier than the right and there is a subtle deviation of the pituitary stalk towards the right. It was felt that this was probably still within normal limits, but a small adenoma is possible.'
This maybe what is left of the tumour I had years ago that affected my infertility, which was treated at the time. I look forward to discussing this with my Headache Specialist on Friday when I go back in for the day to be re-assessed, to see if it is having any impact on my headaches!!
take care
Ann
