HI Ashley
I don't usually post here but read your question and yes I have had that happen. It went on and off for a period of years. My neck would send this horrific pain down my neck through my shoulders and arms and up into my head. It got to the point where when I moved my head back or side to side I would get the pain too. I feel for you and would ask was this a one time occurance or more? Do you have other symptoms? Did they do a Mri & a MRa of your Head or only your spine? Did the numbness go away? I hope you feel better & wish you the best.

It sounds like you probably have a cervical subluxation. That could certainly give you all the symptoms you mentioned. Have you tried chiropractic and ruled this out? There are a lot of people who get relief this way. I think chiropractic and massage together work better than a spinal adjustment alone. There is a fairly recent post from someone here who had adjustments, acupuncture, massage, and electric stimulation therapy all at the same time with good results. Sounds like it's worth a try. The worst that could happen is you try it, it doesn't work, and you move on to something else.
