Does anyone have these symptoms headache and ear???

Hello, I am new to this, was grateful to find it!
OK does anyone have these symptoms? I get headaches intense pain most often on the left side of my head. It seems to go up my neck around my head and into my eye. It feels like a metal rod has been stabbed into my eye. I also have an issue with my left ear. I at times loose hearing in that ear when I turn my head. It feels clogged. I also have times when it feels and sounds like when a radio speaker is blown. I have been to a neurologist for the headaches and an ENT for the ear. The neurologist put me on Topomax, it helped a little but not significantly enough to keep paying the $100 plus co pay for it. I was also given Imitrex which helps some, but not always. I keep wondering if the ear issue and the headaches are connected because they both are on the same side. The increase in the number of headaches per week seemed to increase with the changes in my ear. I read about the 5-HTP on this forum and have purchased that, hoping it will help. I am so frustrated with the headaches that are debilitating at least 2 times per week. I read about some other meds on this forum that I had not heard about before, I am hoping I can find one that will give me some relief. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
