I RECENTLY HAD A STROKE 20 JULY 09. DOCTORS RELATED A ACUTE CEREBELLAM HEMISPHERE INFRACT. I WAS UNABLE TO WALK FOR about FOUR WEEKS . THE STROKE EFFECTED THE AREA OF MY COORDINATION. I AM DOING WELL BUT CLUMSY AT TIMES. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT OTHER EFFCTS ( LONG TERM ) WILL I HAVE? ( DIZZYNESS , LIGHTHEADED , FORGETFULLNESS , ETC )

I'm not sure that this is the best place to receive this type of information as this forum is more geared to people who have a diagnosis for migraine or other head pain (I know that strokes sometimes occur but is not our "main focus")
I would talk to your doctor about the long term affects post stroke-they will have the best/most accurate information for you. I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling right now.
